The German Insitute for the Art of Urbanism invited Hans van der Heijden and Nathalie de Vries (MVRDV) as keynote speakers on the Conference on Beauty and Quality of Life in the City on 22 March. Their subject was 'City and Place, regionalism versus globalism.'
Other speakers included Hans Kollhoff, Andreas Hild, Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani, Hans Stimmann and Rob Krier.
